Colonics are a natural, safe and non-invasive way to cleanse your colon and support gut health. We use a unique method called Wood's Gravity Colon Hydrotherapy that relies on gravity instead of filling the colon. Gut health is super important to overall health so if you’re looking for colonic irrigation in Sydney, get in touch with Clean Canvas.

What is Wood's Gravity Colon Hydrotherapy?

Wood's Gravity Colonics are a natural, safe & non-invasive way to cleanse the colon. Our method relies on gravity, rather than filling the colon with water.

No machine. No pumps. No pressure. No force.

The gentle flow of warm, highly filtered water, together with mild pulsation of the tubing by your fully qualified colon hydrotherapist, work to stimulate muscular contractions in your colon, resulting in the elimination of faecal matter, trapped gas, mucus and inflammation, as well as any potential nasties like parasites & candida strands.

The benefits of colon hydrotherapy

The gentle flow of warm, highly filtered water, together with mild pulsation of the tubing by your fully qualified colon hydrotherapist, work to stimulate muscular contractions in your colon, resulting in the elimination of fecal matter, trapped gas, mucus and inflammation, as well as any potential nasties like parasites & candida strands.

By stimulating muscular contraction of the colon (also known as peristalsis), to push the contents of the colon along, Wood's Gravity Colonics help to rehabilitate the colon's natural ability to eliminate waste, resulting in many benefits, including but not limited to:
- Less Bloating
- Clearer Skin
- Improved nutrient absorption
- Reduced inflammation
- Better mental clarity
- Improvement in bowel movements at home

The process

First time getting a colonic or visiting our clinic? Here's how it works.

1

Consultation

First, you'll have a consultation with Daniela to discuss any issues you're having with your bowels. She'll talk you though the procedure to make sure you're feeling comfortable and understand what happens next.

2

Preparation

Once your thorough consultation has concluded, your therapist will leave the room while you remove your clothing from the waist down before laying down on the bed and covering yourself with the disposable towelling provided. Once you are in position, your therapist will re-enter the room to commence with your treatment.

3

Procedure

Treatment will go for approximately 45 minutes. You are welcome to use your phone throughout your treatment, should you wish, or you can use that time to discuss your health goals and ways that we can help you overcome and gut issues you may be experiencing.
